Who We Serve
Goodwill of the Southern Alleghenies offers many services for adults, youth, and families.
Goodwill helps adults with disabilities or other barriers to achieve their fullest potential through activities such as learning job skills, obtaining prevocational job training, receiving support for mental illness, or earning their GEDS.
For adults looking for what might be their first jobs, or dislocated workers looking for new jobs or to learn new trades after layoffs or company closings, Goodwill helps adults gain the skills they need and provides the valuable resources to increase chances for employment.
Because today’s youth are tomorrow’s workforce and community leaders, Goodwill provides many services such as job training, career development, education, and mentoring to get them on the right path for a successful future.
And because Goodwill knows that strong families mean strong communities, Goodwill serves as a resource for families to receive services or to get information they need.
